Autumn Wedding Inspiration at Loseley Park

Loseley Park Tithe Barn
The Loseley Park Wedding Open Day was full of beautiful Autumn wedding inspiration. Arriving couples were initially directed to the Tithe Barn to begin their Bridal Trail, where they were warmly greeted with a fabulous Loseley Park goody bag and venue map.

Autumn Styling
The Tithe Barn provides a beautiful blank canvas for any wedding or event. The styling of this space for the Open Day perfectly captured the beauty of the season. Liberal amounts of white and green florals and foliage, gathered from the Estate, were used throughout the Barn. ‘Old man’s beard’, with its fluffy seed heads (a hedgerow plant), stole the show and created an impressive seasonal display; intermingled with fairy lights along the main beam and dangling from circular wreaths suspended from the ceiling.

The barn was styled using a single, long table set up running down the centre of the room, with benches on either side and white sheepskin throws. A simple white table runner dressed the rustic wooden table, and created the backdrop for the elegant table centre of trailing ivy, laurel, white and pale blue pumpkins and brass candlesticks. Two oversized Martini glasses added impressively tall floral displays which made a stunning focal point along the table. A contemporary wedding welcome sign reflected aspects of the colour scheme that was used throughout the barn.
Table Styling
The tablescape included stylish mix and match gold-rimmed glassware and charcoal grey goblets, combined with contemporary light grey stoneware chargers and knotted grey linen napkins. The charcoal and gold theme was carried through to the tableware and the tea length menus and charcoal place names created the perfect finish.

Autumn Feast
The Tithe Barn provided a visual feast of Autumnal abundance, as well as a feast for the taste buds too! The tasting table included an array of good, honest and delicious flavours by Loseley’s Head Chef Dan. Buttery shortbread biscuits, locally sourced cheese, savoury french palmiers, seasonal clementines, and my favourite… ‘to die for’ biscuit base with chocolate ganache topped sweet treats. The table also included a popular marshmallow dipping station, which involved pans of white chocolate dipping sauce and selection of crunchy toppings.
