Frequently Asked Questions
can i order a sample?
Of course, simply go to the Order Sample shop page and select from the sample options. If you would like a specific sample to be sent, please get in touch today.
What paper do you use and do you offer different envelope types?
The Studio Collection printed stationery uses a combination of 150gsm, 250gsm and 300gsm luxe soft textured cardstock. For bespoke stationery, I offer a much wider range of papers.
Matching luxe paper envelopes are supplied as standard, but other envelope colours, styles and weights would be available as an add-on to your order. Contact me today or email: hello@flamboyantinvites.com to discuss.
What’s the difference between the Studio Collection and the bespoke service?
The Studio Collection is an off-the-peg range of semi-custom stationery, perfect for couples who demand beautifully designed and printed stationery, but don’t require a totally bespoke design. The Bespoke Design service is perfect for couples who want something truly unique. Discover which is the right service for you. Click here to browse the Studio Collection or learn more about our Bespoke Design Service.
How long does it take for my stationery to be delivered?
The Studio Collection typically takes 3-4 weeks for the creation, proofing, printing and delivery of your suite, or for On the Day stationery, but can take up to 6 weeks for special print finishes, or at busy times. Bespoke Orders usually take between 6 and 8 weeks.
This is a busy little studio, so the more time you can give the better! However, I am always happy to accommodate rush orders, where possible, so if you have a short turnaround, do get in touch and I’ll see if I can help! Please note that an additional charge may apply for a rush order.
Do you send stationery proofs before sending to print and how many rounds of revisions do I get?
Yes, you will receive up to two rounds of digital PDF proofs as standard for both the Studio Collection and Bespoke Orders. Additional proofs will incur a charge of £25 per round. Physical printed proofs are from £15 per item (plus postage) – please note that getting printed proofs will add time to the delivery of your stationery.
How do i order stationery?
The Studio Collections are really simple to order online; simply visit the Collections page, browse the designs and select each stationery item, the quantity required and any extras, such as belly bands and envelope liners. Add each item to your basket, to build your suite, ready for checkout. Should you wish to order evening invites or extra enclosure cards, simply add this as another item to your order. We will contact you once your order is confirmed to discuss wording, or you can forward your wording via email: hello@flamboyantinvites.com, together with your order number.
For the Bespoke Service, please read more about the order process to see if this service is for you and then do drop us a line to get the ball rolling! In the first instance, fill out the bespoke design form on our contact page
How many invitation sets do i need?
As a rule of thumb, it is recommended that you send one invitation per household, couple or individual, with an additional 15-20% extra. These extras allow for the inevitable additions to your guest list at a later stage. Reprinting your order in small quantities can be costly to do, so it’s best to order a little more than your total guest list number.
I love a design in the Studio Collections, but my colour scheme is different…do I need to go bespoke?
Font style and colour changes are certainly possible and it is possible to alter the colour of many of the designs elements in these suites, these changes are included in the price. However, if you require special print finishes, such as gold foiling, or have vast changes to make to the design, then it is recommended that you contact us regarding a custom design and fill out our contact form today.
I want something specific, that I don’t see on your website. Can you still help?
Yes, of course, I’d be happy to help! Please fill out the bespoke design from on the contact page [bespoke design form] to tell me more about your ideas and I can let you know whether it would be possible to do – I do love a challenge!
I saw a design on Pinterest or Instagram, can you copy it?
Whilst we can of course utilise images for inspiration for a bespoke design, I’m afraid that I am not able to copy a design due to copyright infringement and intellectual property rights (and out of respect) for the work of another designer or studio.
We ordered our invites with you. Can you send us the artwork so we can create our own on the day items?
In order to maintain a high standard of design and ensure a high quality output, I am afraid that I cannot provide our printed collections in digital form. By ordering, or paying your deposit, you agree to our Terms and Conditions and we reserve the right to pursue legal action for infringement of our intellectual property.
However, should you engage me for bespoke stationery, it is possible to create custom monograms for you to utilise across other items for your big day, but this type of artwork will incur a release fee on top of the design fee and will be subject to its own Terms and Conditions (provided at the time of booking).
What are your payment terms?
Designs purchased through the Studio Collections shop on flamboyantinvites.com require 100% payment on ordering. Work booked directly and bespoke jobs, require a 50% deposit upfront with the remaining 50% due before the work is sent to print. All charges will be invoiced. All payments must be paid within 5 days of invoicing via Bank transfer to allow work to take place instantly. Billing will reflect the actual costs incurred and any client requested changes will be billed additionally. Throughout the process I will advise you on any price changes on any changes to the original order and your final invoice will be adjusted accordingly.
What is your returns policy?
As all stationery we create is personalised, all stationery items and invitations are therefore non-refundable.
Your deposit is non-refundable. If you wish to cancel your order during the design process and/or before artwork has gone to print, you will not be required to pay your remaining balance due on the stationery. Once you have approved the artwork and paid the balance, the sale becomes final. We cannot accept returns due to any or all errors. It is your responsibility to ensure the wording/spellings on your stationery matches with your requirements. If errors are discovered once your stationery is sent to print, we are required to charge for a reprint at the minimum quantity.
All sales of bespoke stationery are final except where a product is damaged or faulty. If this is the case you must notify us within 3 days of the receipt of the products.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, of course! If you are overseas, please contact us first so we can work out shipping costs to your location. Goods may be subject to local custom charges, for which we can accept no responsibility for.
UK orders are sent by courier with a tracking reference.
